Our Adoption Story

This week marks 3 months since Sadie became a part of our family. It's hard to believe that 3 whole months have passed, but at the same time it feels like she's always been a part of our family. Every where we go, she fits in so well. No one would ever know she's only been with us for such a short time.

Some of Sadie's adventures over the last 2 months have included...

• Going to Church for the first time. She was hesitant for us to leave but did great. She always wants to go see her friend Johnny or as she says "Donnie"

• Sadie decided she could live in harmony with our dog Wrigley. She sometimes even gives him a quick pet.

• She swam for the first time. It look her a good 30 minutes to warm up to the idea, but then she loved it.
  

• We went to the Asian market for a comfort food fix.

• Sadie met some more of her family.

• She celebrated her first Easter

• She love love loves music. I'd say it is her favorite thing. She loves to sing and dance.

• Sadie loves all things girly. She is always so excited about any new clothes or accessories.

• She has an abundance of personality.

• Her language has exploded. She is now putting 2-4 words together at a time. She surprises us daily when she says something that we didn't have any idea she even knew. The things we hear the most are "thank you", "mama look" and the answer to every question is... I bet you can guess... "no!"

• She has managed to wrap everyone around her finger and to bring out the joy in all of us. 
• After so much attention and catering to for the last few months, she has a really hard time with being told no :)
